Since it is one of the most in-demand finger food for all occasions, we will be sharing with you the traditional recipe of a Filipino delicacy lumpia or commonly known as egg rolls with meat fillings.
First, in making lumpia, prepare the following ingredients.
- Eggs Roll Wrapper ( lumpia Wrapper)
- Ground Meat ( Beef, Chicken, or Pork)
- Chopped Onions
- Crushed Garlic
- Garlic powder
- Ground Black Pepper
- Vegetable oil
- Monggo sprouts,
- Minced Potato
- Minced Carrots
- thinly sliced Kentucky
You can buy all of them in the local market and these ingredients are not that costly.
In preparing the lumpia, you must cook the filling first. In a heated pan and vegetable oil, saute the garlic and onions. Then add the meat and seasoned the meat salt, pepper, garlic powder. After the color of the meat changes, add soy sauce and vinegar to taste. After a few minutes, add the mongo sprouts, carrots, potatoes, and Kentucky. You can also add some seasoning to make it tastier. Leave it for 20 minutes or until it’s cooked.
After the filling is cooked. Set aside and leave it until the temperature is down and ready to wrap with egg rolls. In wrapping, you can measure the filling with a tablespoon.
